ABOUT US

So Does Your Mother is a Progressive Rock Dance band based in Rome and born in 2009.

It made its first steps in the “eternal” city, crawling around her most famous clubs and theaters. In 2013, after many changes to the initial line up of the band, So Does Your Mother gave birth to their first studio production, the EP “Fac(e)ing the Animals”.

On the 20th of June 2015, after some intense work with producer Marco Molteni of Mordecai Studios, the band brought its first album “Neighbours” into this world.

The music contained in the record was created thanks to the collaboration with artists such as Ike Willis, Frank Zappa’s singer and guitarist, and singer Ghita Casadei.

The release of the album was followed by a promotional tour through Europe that it is still ongoing.
